March For Babies: Why We Walk

Jonathan Ethan Thomas (fondly known as J.E.T) was born on November 28, 2020 at 27 weeks gestational to our sorority sister Angle and our Sigma Gent Johnathan.

Jet was 1 lb 11 oz at birth. Jet spent 174 days in the NICU (1 week shy of 6 months). Jet's primary diagnosis is Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (premature lungs). He had surgery at 42 weeks gestational (3 months) and now has a trach to assist with breathing and lung development, a ventilator, and a gtube for eating. He is correctly 16 months old (13 months corrected) and he is an absolute joy to be around! We walk and stand with Jet our personal superhero!!
